Björn Krause's "Lunch" is in many ways an interesting album. One of the very few Finnish rock records sung in Swedish and the first album where Jukka Gustavson and Matts Hulden are playing together after the Wigwam times.
Björn Krause's Luch är på många sätt en intressant skiva. En av de få finska rockskivor med lyrik på svenska, men också den förstä skivan där orgel legenden Jukka Gustavson och basisten Mats Huldén spelar tillsammans efter Wigwam eran.
This album has been recorded in Madeira at "Sabor a Fado" tavern with the live audience! Like Anita herself puts it: "Fado is about life, sometimes life is rough, sometimes gentle. All these songs come from the heart and soul of the musicians. To sing and play Fado you must experience life."

Percussionist Pekka Saarikoski's excellent and intriguing Water Music - an album best described as a composing drummer’s debut. It is deep in personal flavour – strongly percussive but simultaneously lyrical and minimalistically melodic.

Izmaylov does not pluck the strings, but uses jazz tapping - an original technique of electric guitar playing when a musician plays with both hands on the neck by tapping on the strings with his fingertips, as if it was a keyboard.

Transkaakko is a Finnish group that experiments with Balkan rhythms, folk styles and rock music. On their fourth album, Kulo (‘Fire´ or ‘Dead Ground That Is Uncovered in the Spring after the Snow Is Gone’), Transkaakko moves slightly towards folk psychedelia and progressive rock. Instead of just reviving these genres or other music traditions, the band looks for the spirit of originality and
excitement.
Musician, singer and songwriter Jari Loisa is known for his many activities in the Finnish music scene. Nowadays Loisa is also a photographer and wants to “make music visible” through his photography. These picturesque, ambient influenced tunes reflect beautifully the world of Loisa’s photographs, but can also be enjoyed as individual pieces of music.

The backing musicians on Lumi include members of Pekka's band, a string quartet, and kantele player Anu Itäpelto. The sound of the album is for the most part acoustic with the string quartet pieces recorded live in the studio.
Pariisi–Vuorenkylä ('Paris–Vuorenkylä') was recorded in Paris under the guidance of producers/musicians Gabriel Yacoub and Patrice Clementin. The album's title points to opposite ends of the musical connection which links them together: Gabriel's home metropolis Paris and Marja's home Vuorenkylä, a tiny village surrounded by lakes and forests, where Marja lives as a sheepfarmer.
Marja's fifth studio album Polku ('path') was released in February 2007. This time the arrangements and production are made by Ilmari Issakainen and Tyko Saarikko, two members of the Finnish folk band Tenhi. n February 2008 Marja released her second live CD Vuorenkylässä ('In Vuorenkylä'), which contains a concert that she performed together with kantele player Eveliina Kontio. The concert was held in Marja's home's 150-year-old main room in July 2007. Some listeners have especially taken to the stripped-down soundscape of Marja's concerts, where she performs alone with her guitar or with one accompanist. Vuorenkylässä responds to these listeners' wishes and also documents a performance of this duo that has already performed for a decade.
Tainatar was born when Pekka Pitkäkoski and Antti Polameri got together in 2001 and decided to start making music. Since then, the group has mixed together elements from progressive-rock to world-, folk-, jazz- and art-rock music. But most importantly, they’ve made songs to remember. The lyrics are based on traditional story-telling, the kind of narration where time and mysteries mix together with everyday life.
