Jeavestone was formed in 1999 by Jim, Kingo, Tommy and Mickey. They released their first self-financed ep (in which Angelina debuted) in 2001. Angelina played her first Jeavestone gig in 2003. The first full length album "Mind The Soup" was released in 2005. Jeavestone played their first gigs outside Finland in July 2006 when they performed at the Burg Herzberg Festival and at the Freakshow Artrock Festival in Germany. The 2nd album "Spices, Species and Poetry Petrol" was released in 2008, when Jeavestone played it's debut performances in United Kingdom, Denmark and Sweden. The third album "1+1=OK" was published in 17.11.2010 and is available also in Spotify.

Jeavestone’s style is so called "eclectic prog" or "prog'n'roll" (as they call it themselves). They amalgamate the influence of 1970s classic prog acts like Gentle Giant or King Crimson with modern sounding rock, without trying to eschew even humorous aspects. Their instrumentation spans from traditional rock combo on the first album to the extensive use of woodwind and string instruments on the second.

This really is music offering rewarding experiences not only for jazz fans but also to mainstream listeners.
